Server & Network Equipment Recycling for Businesses

Decommissioning a server room or closing a data closet leaves you with heavy, data-bearing equipment that cannot go in the dumpster. We pick up servers, storage and network gear, destroy the drives, and recycle the rest responsibly.

Equipment we pick up

  • Rack-mount and tower servers, blade chassis
  • SAN and NAS storage arrays and their drives
  • Switches, routers, firewalls and wireless access points
  • Server racks, PDUs and UPS battery backups
  • Patch panels, cabling and KVM equipment

Drives are destroyed, not just pulled

Servers and storage arrays often hold the most sensitive data a company has — databases, backups, email archives. Drives from every server and array we collect are physically shredded and documented on a Certificate of Destruction.

Planning a server room decommission

Send us a rough inventory — number of racks, servers and storage units — plus details on building access, elevators or loading docks. We'll plan the pickup around your cut-over date during business hours, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. If you are moving to the cloud or a colocation facility, we can collect equipment in phases as systems are retired.

Large server room projects often exceed two pallets of material, which qualifies for rebates based on volume and equipment type.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to unrack the servers first?
Tell us how the equipment is set up when you request a quote and we'll confirm what our crew can handle on site. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm whether your crew de-racks equipment.]
What happens to working network equipment?
Equipment is recycled through CalRecycle-authorized channels. Larger loads may qualify for rebates based on volume and type.
Do you recycle UPS batteries?
Yes, UPS units and battery backups are accepted with business pickups. Let us know the quantity and size beforehand.
